Wedding Photography Terms & Conditions

Copyright & License The copyright of all images belongs to us under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Acts. We grant you a non-commercial, high-resolution license to use your photographs for personal use. All computer files remain our property. RAW files are not supplied under any circumstances.

Technical Failure All equipment is regularly checked, and we have backup gear. In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure, our liability is limited to a full refund of any fees paid.

Artistic Control We use our artistic judgement to determine poses, locations, image selection, editing style, and the overall coverage of your event. Our judgement is final. We cannot be held responsible for obstructed views or for failing to capture any specific photograph. Due to lighting and digital sensor limitations, some colours may vary. Not all photographs taken will be delivered, and image selection remains entirely at our discretion.

Unforeseen Circumstances If either David or Claire is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the other partner will photograph the wedding alone. If both are unavailable, we will provide a trained replacement photographer to cover the event under these same terms. Our liability is strictly limited to providing this replacement coverage, or to a full refund only if no replacement can be sourced and we must cancel the booking.

Archive & Products We will store your wedding photographs for a minimum of six months from your wedding date. After this period, images may be permanently deleted without notice. You must download and back up your images within this period. All products included in your package, including albums, must be ordered within six months of your wedding date. After this period, our obligation to provide these products will expire.

Album Selection & Approval Clients are responsible for selecting their preferred images for inclusion in albums. Where duplicate or near-identical images are selected, we may adjust these selections or request alternative choices in order to maintain the quality, flow and design of the finished album. Album image quantities are stated as a maximum allowance (for example, up to 100 images) and refer to unique images. The final number of images included may vary depending on client selections and the overall design of the album. The final album design, including image selection, layouts and cropping, will be provided for client approval before manufacture. Once approved, the album will be sent for production and no further changes can be made.

Album Delivery All wedding albums are delivered directly from the manufacturer free of charge via courier.

Pre-Wedding Shoot The Pre-Wedding Shoot is held in Llangollen, Denbighshire. If your package includes a guest book, you are responsible for selecting the photos in time for us to order it. We are not responsible for damage to the guest book.

Liability Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Subject to this, our liability is limited to the total fees paid under this agreement.

On the Day

Exclusive Photographers We are your only authorised and official photographers. We welcome guests taking photos but cannot be shadowed by amateur photographers as it may interfere with our work.

Timeline We start two hours before the ceremony and no earlier than 9AM and finish shortly after the first dance and no later than 9PM.

Meals Two hot supplier meals must be provided for us at the same time as the wedding breakfast.

Photography Breaks We do not take photos during the wedding breakfast, apart from key events like speeches and the cake cutting.

Preparation Photos We photograph preparation for Partner 1 only unless Partner 2 is at the same location.

The Client is responsible for ensuring guests are available for agreed group photographs and that sufficient time is allocated within the timeline.

Payments & Cancellation

For Clients Who Have Paid a Deposit

A non-refundable deposit secures your wedding date. The remaining balance is due three months before the wedding.

If you cancel more than twelve months before the wedding, the deposit is forfeited.

If you cancel between twelve and six months before the wedding, the deposit is forfeited and 50% of the total package fee is due.

If you cancel less than six months before the wedding, the full package fee is due.

For Clients Who Have Paid in Full

Full payment secures your wedding date. If the discounted rate is chosen by paying in full at booking or through an early-bird offer, this reduced fee is non-refundable. This reflects both the significant value of the discount and the stricter cancellation terms associated with early commitment.

Rescheduling

If We Are Available If you reschedule your wedding, and we are available on the new date, the remaining balance must be paid in full to transfer the booking.

If We Are Unavailable If you reschedule your wedding and we are not available on the new date, this will be treated as a client cancellation. All payments made will be retained, and the Cancellation policy will apply to determine if any additional balance is due.

Severability If any part of this contract is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remainder of the terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
