Wedding Workshop – Terms & Conditions


Payments & Cancellations

  • All payments are final and non-refundable.
  • If you cancel, we may offer a one-time transfer to a future workshop.
  • If we cancel, you will be moved to the next available date.
  • We are not responsible for travel or accommodation costs.


On the Day

  • Bring your own DSLR or mirrorless camera and lens.
  • We may photograph or film the workshop for marketing or training.
  • A valid ticket (STRIPE receipt) is required for entry.
  • Late arrivals or inappropriate behaviour may result in refusal of entry.


Behaviour & Safety

  • Always behave professionally and courteously.
  • You are responsible for your own safety, belongings, and equipment.
  • We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage.


Second Shooter Eligibility

  • Based on professionalism shown during the workshop.


Business Disclaimer

  • Methods taught have worked for us and our students, but results depend on your effort.
  • Attending the workshop does not count as a professional qualification.


Severability

  • If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.

Payments & Cancellations

  • The attendance fee is non-refundable.
  • Dates are confirmed when you book and cannot be changed or transferred.
  • If we cancel, we'll offer you an alternative date.
  • We are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs.


Image Usage

  • You retain copyright in the images you create, subject to the restrictions below.
  • You may use your images for your own website, portfolio and printed marketing.
  • After the wedding, you must provide us with all RAW files from the day.
  • You may only share on social media images selected and edited by David Paul Photography for the couple’s wedding gallery. These must not be shared until six weeks after the wedding, and any post must state that you were “second shooting for David Paul Photography”.
  • Selection of images for the couple’s gallery and social media is entirely at our discretion, and we do not guarantee that any images taken by you will be selected or approved for social media use.
  • You may not sell images, edit the images selected by us, or provide images to venues, suppliers or any other third parties.


Professional Conduct

  • Behave professionally and dress smartly at all times.
  • Arrive and leave with the primary photographer; follow their instructions.
  • Stay close to the primary photographer unless told otherwise.
  • Do not distract or overstep during key moments.
  • The Second Shooter is engaged to capture still photographs only; any video, audio, livestreaming, drone use or independent social media/content creation is strictly prohibited.
  • Only digital DSLR or mirrorless cameras allowed—no film cameras, drones, or alternative capture devices.
  • Only small camera bags permitted; all backup gear must stay in your vehicle.
  • You may work with another fully trained photographer if required.


Accommodation / Night Before & After

  • Students must not stay at the venue the night before or after the wedding.
  • Students must not approach or introduce themselves to the couple, guests, venue staff or suppliers before the arrival of the primary photographer.


Insurance & Liability

  • You must hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance and provide proof if requested.
  • You are responsible for your own safety, property, and actions.
  • We are not responsible for injuries, loss/damage to property, or travel delays.


Severability
